RTST (pronounced “Artist”) is a multi-format DJ and Turntablist. With 20 years of experience, he has played rooms ranging from intimate bars, clubs, large venues, and festival stages. He is also a renowned DJ in the battle circuit. In 2014, he became the New York City Cut2Cut Champ. He represented the United States in the DMC Team World Finals alongside his team, the “Chicago Turntablist Authority.” While known for his technicality as a DJ, he is a lover of music first and a firm believer in creating a vibe that resonates with the crowd. He plays a wide variety music but is currently leaning into dance music such as House and UKG. His skills and selection have led him to open for reknown artists in hip-hop and dance. Some notable artists he’s opened for include Pusha-T, Lil Wayne, Sammy Virji, Salute, and Austin Millz. Along with DJing, he’s also a passionate graphic designer. He’s currently the Lead Designer for Auris Presents in Chicago, IL. He’s branded and designed for various festivals/concert series, most recently ARC Music Festival.
