But it was behind the decks where he truly found his groove—sparked by Paul Oakenfold’s legendary Creamfields 2003 set. Since graduating from NYC’s Dubspot School of Music Production in 2015, ROLO has incorporated production craftsmanship with an instinct for unforgettable dance floor moments. His sound is a kinetic blend of hypnotic drum grooves, vocal-driven melodies, and raw underground energy—drawing inspiration from rhythm-driven deep house, Romanian minimal techno, and breakbeat textures.
