His style is versatile, but always delivers proper underground techno sounds, as his foundation and preferred tailored sound. Not only a DJ, but an accomplished Producer & Remixer, Rolando has released on many national and international labels, including Sleaze Records from the UK, Naked Lunch from Portugal, Unknown Territory, Nihil Young's label 'Frequenza', De-Konstrukt, Black Square Recordings, Reload Black, Funk’n Deep, to name a few. He has DJ'd all over the country at clubs like The Works in Detroit, Beta in Denver, The Electric Pickle in Miami to name a few and has also traveled to various parts of the world to DJ, ranging from his birthplace in Chile, to ADE last year in Amsterdam, and arguably his best moment to date, playing at the famous and world renowned club WOMB in Tokyo. Rolando was born in Valparaiso, Chile, South America, and lived the majority of his childhood and early adult life in New York, where most of his inspiration and roots are derived from, by being fortunate enough to witness world renowned DJ's such as Jonathan Peters, Danny Tenaglia, DJ Vibe, Victor Calderone and more play at famous clubs such as Sound Factory NYC, Crobar NYC, Cielo, etc, that inspired him to start DJing, to now producing dark and driving Techno music, which is a fusion of American Techno infused with a European style. Currently now he runs and operates his successful techno label AEROTEK RECORDINGS, which was founded in 2013, out of Scottsdale, AZ, as well as a label partner for the successful Dark Techno label De-Konstrukt, working close along sided Syed Raza (Subfractal) from NYC. Aerotek Recordings, which has hosted some top underground talent such as Luis Flores, Axkan, Anthony Jimenez, Tunnel, Forest People, Andy Notalez, DKult and many more, has been used as a platform and a foundation for himself, as well as for his peers, that has gained notoriety throughout the globe. Rolando also co-hosts the popular Evolve after party in Detroit during Movement festival weekend, alongside labels Sub÷Divizion & Omen, at the famous ‘The Works’ venue, which has gained international notoriety, and has hosted amazing artists such as Neil Landstrumm, Orphx, Subfractal, Axkan, plus others. Rolando also owns and operates his 'Bang' brand, showcasing Techno in Arizona venues throughout.
