After dancing along to many amazing DJ sets over the years, Rodderz (Rodney Cornelius) decided to turn his passion for listing to great music into playing great music for others. His first DJ gig was in 2017 for a small independent dance music festival named Deevstock. Rodderz’s primary focus is on blending different styles within the House genre (including Bass House, Deep House, House, Progressive House and Tech House) together with Techno, minimal, and other sounds to create sets that take people on a journey through music. In 2022, Rodderz also began to add Drum & Bass to his genres of music he plays. Since 2017, Rodderz has played club nights, returned to Deevstock multiple times, released DJ sets online, as well as done streaming events. Since autumn 2020, Rodderz has also managed the virtual online show ‘Hear All The Things’ (HATT) - a partnership with Deevstock that launched as a desire to keep people connected through music during the extended lockdown period. Post-lockdown, HATT continues as a seasonal show (January – May) building up to the annual Deevstock festival.
