Robson's sound has continuously evolved during his DJ career. Whilst playing a range of house, techno and electro, Robson's dark techno sets are where his passion can really be heard. This Manchester based DJ has been making his way round the major cities in the UK. Playing in Manchester, Leeds, Chester, Stoke, Nottingham, and the renowned Egg nightclub in London, Robson has brought a fresh new take on the UK's techno scene. As well as being a regular on the Manchester based radio show Bloc2Bloc, Robson has bagged himself a regular DJ/Presenter role on Manchester FM Radio Station, Unity Radio. With the UK's Techno scenes reaching their strongest points than they have done for years, Robson is definitely a DJ to keep an eye on. Since the age of 11, Robson's passion and enthusiasm for music have been developing into a unique and distinctive sound. For Robson, it was artists such as deadmau5 that fuelled his inspiration, and from the age of 16, Robson's career as a DJ began. It was 2015 when Robson landed his first gig at Manchester's vibrant and electric Antwerp Mansion. Robson often appears on fellow DJ and close friend S.ONN's weekly radio show; Nouva.fm. Robson's artist influences: Richie Hawtin, MATRiXMANN, Ricardo Villalobos, and DVS1, to name a few, have helped this up and coming DJ to develop into a unique artist. Unconstrained by boundaries, Robson and his use of equipment have enabled him to diversify and transform to suit certain venues and crowds, whilst also maintaining his distinctive sound. Robson uses a combination of CDJ, vinyl and external hardware instruments (often analogue) to add to the mix. Sounds like this are hard to find in the techno scene today, but Robson is making his way in to rectify this problem. When mixing with turntables, Robson regularly uses a Roland TB-03 synthesizer. Robson's mixes and production stand out as something quite unlike anything else. Robson is a DJ that is pushing things forward. He is taking his music to whole new levels. Not only as an artist and a performer, but as a dynamic and innovative DJ.
