He has held long residencies at beloved London spaces including Spiritland, Brilliant Corners and the Heavenly Social, on top of being a regular backstage DJ at Glastonbury for many years. Now based back in his adopted home of Manchester, he enjoyed a long-held residency at much-missed audiophile bar Nam and, when time used to allow, he produced a much-loved monthly show for NTS Radio. Rob’s strictly all-wax selections express his love of music of many forms. Most comfortable playing for the duration of a night, his 4-5 hour ‘anything goes’ sets are very much in the Balearic-cosmic spirit. As such, they take in soul, funk, rare groove, modern R&B, perfect pop, disco, boogie, classic hip-hop, house and any combination of the above. The only real criteria is that the music has to have soul and personality.
