DJ by night, occupational therapist and mental health worker by day, Ro-Motion (or Matt as his friends know him) has been a big fixture of the vibrant Birmingham bass scene through founding Reflect, and UoB Underground, as well as a stint as flagbearer of Bass Invaders, playing several successful nights at PST, Hare and Hounds, The Monastery and The Mill (formerly Rainbow). Matt then took to Manchester where he co-founded Kodiak Productions with close friend Harry and Data 3 DJ and producer Alex, booking some of the biggest names in underground DnB from minimal to jungle to neurofunk at their home, Rebellion - plus Hidden, Mint Lounge, Kable and South. Since returning to his home city, East London born Ro-Motion has been working closely with brother Adam Romo on LDN GRV, as well as performing at the likes of All Colours and returning to Birmingham for a special guest appearance at High Key Recordings. Ro-Motion has been a stellar contribution to the scene since his DJ career began in 2016. From house parties to successful club nights to shelling down in the Alps, this is a man on a mission to bring sonic revolution to the people.
