Biografía

RIŽIK is the Los Angeles-based live electronic artist who performs on an immersive instrument known as THE MACHINE – a physical system of analog synthesizers, drum machines, and signal processors designed for live creation, not playback. Rooted in his philosophy of “Tame the Machine,” his work explores what remains human in an increasingly artificial world. Composing and performing entirely in real time, RIŽIK shapes evolving soundscapes without backing tracks or predetermined sequences. Each performance is intentionally unrepeatable; a negotiation between human intention and mechanical response. With foundations in rock/metal drumming, techno culture, and film composition – RIŽIK merges physical performance with electronic sound, creating a live experience that feels as visceral as it is immersive. Behind the scenes, RIŽIK spent over a decade working alongside music pioneers including techno icon Richie Hawtin, turntable wizard DJ Shadow, and film composer Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) – experiences that informed his vision for bridging sound, story, and system. RIŽIK is not a rejection of technology. It is a confrontation. A reminder that while machines may amplify us... they do not define us.
