Rivaldo's DJ sets are a dynamic fusion of styles, merging the nostalgic sounds of 90's house, trance, and techno. With a commitment to evolution, Rivaldo continuously pushes the boundaries of his craft. Born to a Colombian father and a Belgian mother, Rivaldo's cultural background has had a profound influence on his musical journey. His passion for music flourished when living in Montreal, Canada, where he was introduced to local house music producers like Project Pablo and Fred Everything. In 2014 Rivaldo began DJing in Montreal and clubs like Newspeak and Velvet became his playground. In 2017 he returned to Bogotá,Colombia where he became a prominent fixture in the city's electronic music circuit, gracing venues such as Armando, Baum, ODEM, Mad Radio, and Videoclub, among others. He joined forces with other local DJs and producers to co-create the Capital Groove collective, devoted to the organization of events showcasing both local and international talents like Roza Terenzi, Shanti Celeste, D. Tiffany, Liquid Earth, and Gene on Earth. Since 2020, DJ Rivaldo has found a home as a resident DJ and partner at Videoclub, one of Bogotá's premier electronic music clubs.
