Motivated by his anthropology career and philosophers Deleuze and Guattari, the particular interest of merging these genres arose not only from a search for cultural exchanges and mutant sounds, but also from the urge to build "territorialized" spaces through the incorporation of cutting-edge soundscapes in local clubs of his home town. Ritornelo has collaborated with several Colombian platforms and collectives, including La Curaduría radio station (in which he hosts his own show named El Cacharreo), Aquelarre record label, and electronic collectives Perro Perro and Mothership.exe. His music selection and mixing techniques caught Verraco’s attention –one of the most acclaimed DJs and producers in Colombia and TraTraTrax founder– who booked Ritornelo for two dates of his 2022 residency at Video Club. As part of his local vision and music career, he’s currently working on his first musical production, which is planned to be launched in 2023.
