The concept of RIGOROS encompasses a curiosity for ancient Nordic culture with its mystical facets and the raw, hypnotic techno that can be found in many techno clubs today. Through this mixture, the queer artist succeeds in creating a melodic, hypnotic and dark set that captivates the masses and listeners. The titles of his own musical productions have their origins in the ancient Germanic language, as does the logo inspired by the rune Raidho. Raidho stands for new perspectives and reflects the rhythm of life. In contrast, the word rigorously embodies his strict and energetic musical style. The artist, who hails from the Black Forest, began mixing electronic music when he was around 15 years old. The influence of Underworld, The Chemical Brothers and Faithless quickly awakened his enthusiasm to play at regional outdoor parties in and around the Black Forest over the next few years. He became an integral part of the Freiburg club scene at the age of 18. Over time, he played countless club nights in the region and beyond. Around the age of 23, he founded the RIGOROS project and has been playing his hypnotic and raw techno on stages large and small ever since. His current biggest influences are artists such as Rodhad, Florian Meindl and Introversion.
