The beginning of 2003 saw Richie Fingers staying close to home (London) putting his air miles to one side and concentrating on the thriving bar culture which has decended over his home town. Starting the Collective Elements parties with friend and Dj, Belgrave.They were to start a series of parties ideal for the Bar scene.
The spring of 2003 saw the end of two successful residencies,"Gifted" @ The Matrix (Reading), and "Big and Clever @The Velvet Rooms (London), due to club closures. Playing @ The Area in Watford @ The Pier in Hastings and Sounds heavenly @Loft Maidstone with a roster that boast the likes of Cj Mackintosh,Brian Tappert, Bobby and Steve, Brandon Block, Nicky Holloway and Paul Farris, was Richies next venture. Richie was asked back on many occasions that year, as well as touching down in Southend helping promoter John O Brian spreading the House vibe with help of the Milk n 2 Sugars Alan jinx Chamberline, Dj Disciple and Marshall Jefferson. Ipswich was to be Richie's next stop where he played alongside Norman Jay and Brandon Block @ club Distinction.
In London the home of partying where the pre party bar culture inter weaves with the heady Club Scene, Richie was invited down to play @ Rouge, "Trust the Djs" party with Roy the Roach, Femi Fem, Eren (Sancha Panza), whilst also playing at Pacha supporting Joey Negro for a organisation called London Parties.
Richie was also known at the Wats-On series of parties @ Rouge and @ Pacha. 2003 was to be a long hot summer, where the "Collective Elements" parties were in full swing in many bars across London, with live radio broadcasting across London and the surrounding counties Richie and Belgrave were invited to do the Notting Hill Carnival invited by a long standing friend and respected dj KCC...
2004 Richie went back on international duties across western and eastern europe in the early part of the year spending time in SWZ (Zurich and Bien), Athens and Thessalonika ,Chez Republic (Prague) while also joining and assisting Unknown FM parties that year. Danny Tenaglia and the Bora Bora party was held in the Famous Heaven night club where Richie hosted his own room. Also that year supporting Eric Morrilo and Carl Cox at the same venue. These were to be the two biggest parties in London both of which were promoted by D Pressure organisation. Richie was invited that year for a special guest mix on Ministry of Sound.com radio and interview were he met Rob who also invited him to do of few gigs for the Ministry Tour. As summer came to a close Richie`s radio show got a mention in DJ Mag (Oct issue) for being one of the best shows on Londons air waves.
2005 After a great year Richie's first London booking was to be the Ministry of Sound opening party of the year supporting Jon Cutler along with House FM djs, 1500 attended, great start to the year. Highlife was to be Richie's next collaboration in promoting spawning three great events in the capital of that year two for Highlife at the then studio 33 supporting guest djs such as K Klass , Sharp Boys , Raymundo Rodrigues, Helen Stokes, Manchester duo Dave and Julien from Tribal Gathering called on Richie to set up london promoting and marketing for them as they were to bring their brand down to the south of the UK in Luton. Representing House FM dj in the Tribal tent were Danny Rampling , Richie Fingers along with Lengendery Frankie Knuckles , Derrick Carter , Claudio Cocooluto , X-press 2 ,Mike Pickering , Greg Wilson and Groove Armada Sound System.
2006 Richie staying close to home that year concentrated on building on residencies in the capital whilst also continuing with the live broadcasting across the home counties and around the world via the world wide web.Fordshouse promotions and Funkinisim were to be his residencies playing at various venues around the capital MOS , Pasha , Opium Bar , Rouge ,Canvas, SE1 Club . 2006 -2010 Richie Fingers hailing out of central London has been an integral part of London's party scene for many years and has a nose for a good up for it crowd . Playing recently at his own promotional nights at Avalon with Deep Down Dirty nights in central London and at trendy Shoreditch House as co promoter for Houseproud . Richie knows how to crowd please , a must for any up for it crowd. He has turn his attention to SW London The Valmont and Tutara Bars in Londons trendy Chelsea area bringing a decadent and beautiful crowd to the event , along with a mature music policy and a classy night of indulgence .This year Richie has got back into international duties Bologna( Italy) ,Oslo (Norway) ( N.Cyprus) Montpelier (France) Amsterdam (Holland) while also co promoting events in the capital inviting guests International DJ's Victor Simonelle (NY) and DJ Pierre (Chicago ) Timo Garcia (UK) to London .Residencies this year have been the wildly successful Sunday West Parties , It's Personal Parties , Smitten Boat Parties and long standing organisation Fordhouse. Now on the flip side of the coin the London Underground Warehouse scene , some big hitters are coming back to the fray , not to say too much just yet but endorsement are intact it will be something to look out for next year .Internet and FM Radio and social networking keeping the movement moving and going against the recession grain .Richie radio show getting support from a wealth of international producers and dj's alike once again pushing home grown material as well means hes music is cutting edge fresh pushing new ideas to the masses .
