Ricco is a 20+ year DJ/Producer obsessed with all sounds electronic. His style can be described as house focussed with a peppering of breaks, UKG, 2Step and D&B (depending on the occasion). A connoisseur of electronic music, Ricco has held various residencies at a handful of clubs in Vancouver which include Goodhousekeeping at Fortune Sound Club, La Discotech at Modern, Fast Life at Republic, Bar None and Lotus Sound Lounge. Having shared the stage with artists such as Gene Farris, Flashmob, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Ardalan, Dam Swindle, The Greenskeepers, Matt the Alien, The Librarian, Barisone, Garneau, The Della Kit, Barisone, Johnny Fiasco and Lawnchair Generals, he is truly a dynamic performer when it comes to capturing and keeping a dancefloor. 2022 was a busy year for Ricco releasing 3 tracks ranging from house, to D&B which includes an official Librarian remix of Moon Illusion and co-production on B*tch Please for hip-hop artist its HarleyB*tch. 2023 so far has seen one release by Ricco, Bombay Sippin’ with more releases expected throughout the year. One half of the local dance and entertainment company JK Gaultier, Ricco has been keeping busy with talent curation for Lief’s Beach at Valhalla Festival (https://valhallafest.ca/) as well as hosting dance events in Vancouver which have included TILT, MOVE, SWITCH, A Holiday Rave and Ardalan (Dirtybird) at various venues around the city.
