Rhythm Phazer is the sonic union formed by Canadian duo Heidy.P and Vandi. Purveyors of house, disco, and machine funk, Rhythm Phazer are known for their hybrid sets: long DJ mixes accompanied by live sampling, remixing, and beatmaking direct from the cabin. Coming from Montreal and Toronto, their respective hometowns, their nomadic wanderings have brought them two Lisbon, having spent time (and given performances) in Paris, Berlin, and New York, in addition to a performance at Dimensions Festival in Croatia and a string of radio shows for Rinse France and Berlin Community Radio. The pair are already contributing much to the city — a DJ workshop in Anjos70, Vandi’s groovy contributions to Desterronics, and regular DJ-sets in around town.
