Rhune's interest in and passion for playing music was fueled by her mother who is a classically trained piano teacher. Having grown up in Northern Virginia, Rhune’s open minded approach to music is influenced by the club music, hip-hop and highly diverse range of music styles which aired on DC radio stations during that time. Rhune has been DJing for over 5 years, and highlights in her accomplishments include: a b2b opening set at Maya Nightclub in Arizona, a renegade stage at Electric Forest Music Festival, El Techo and Flash club in DC, two years at Big Dub music festival in Pennsylvania, and in Richmond at several establishments including a residency at the Jungle Room. With tantalizing, melodic intros, dark bass lines, sultry timbre-rich synthesizers, and hypnotic percussion, she seduces her listeners to join in the dichotomous dance between darkness and light.
