I never know what I'm going to play
It's always a worrying build up to whatever gig I play, but I literally do not know what I'm going to play until the day of the performance.
I do like to have my collecton in order, and at the drop of a hat I'll decide "Holy Moly, I've got to get some tunes together". So, depending on how I'm feeling at that moment I'll put enough tunes in the bag so I could play 50% more, and that's it.
Now the journey begins... HaHa, I'd like to think I could just play anything I've got in front of me, once I get into the Zone, nothing else, at all in the world matters, I'm just there morphing the beautiful tunes in my gaze and in relation only to how the tunes relate to themselves.
I love to look up to see how people are grooving to what on earth I'm doing, and I know you're there, but it's a periphery to the musical trance I'm in. Until I come out of it. Then I do get a very weird feeling of 'where have I been, but lovely to see you'...
Would I ever stop doing what I do?
Never. Ever.
See you in the fields and on the dancefloor : ) x
