Biografía
Reqterdrumer a.k.a Tomoya
Reqterdrumer (a.k.a. Tomoya) is the Chairman of the Japanese “Blue Arts Music” label. Active since 1996 as both DJ and event organizer, he has been invited on several occasions to collaborate with some of the most renown DJs both at home in his native Japan and abroad. At the moment, he is presiding over the “Ourd” party, which meets considerable success whenever it is held in Fukuoka (Japan). In 2008, a track he had uploaded on the label’s site, “Senkai”, with its distinctive, moving use of a flute, caught the attention of Corey Gibbons, who’s collaborated with the world-famous dance music label, “Spinnin’ Deep”. During that very same year, he made his debut at Ibiza. Afterwards, he was involved in artistic creation with different artists in the U.K., Portugal, Serbia, Australia, Brazil and Argentina. In 2014, the god of techno Ken ISHII himself, remixed his track called “Suiren”, released shortly before the same year. That track, with its funky edge, was also played by some other world-class DJs such as Derrick May or Xhin. Even now, this tune still sends the crowd on the floor raving whenever it is played. In 2018, the “Blue Arts Music 10th Anniversary Compilation” is to be released to mark the tenth anniversary of his being Chairman of the label.
