Brussels-based, Reqh (aka Félix Petit) is an artist exploring boundaries between subgenres of techno. His soundscape is characterized by a distinctive sound punctuated by heavy grooves and dynamic atmospheres, shifting tuneful & textures to make listeners stick to the ground & sharp ears. Having grown up in a music-filled environment, he began playing real instruments in the 2000’s but he got quickly frustrated by the physical limitations of the human body to execute fast & randomly. It turned out that electronic music was the solution to his vision of composing. Exploring industrial hardcore before diving into slower genres, he had some projects before focusing on techno in 2019. He has made a name for himself over the years, committing to exciting sound explorations, releases & remixes on labels such as Coincidence, Elberec, Deviate, or Esitu & lately Mutant Modality, his music made him play alongside artist like Stanislav Tolkachiev, Sawf, Vsk, Quelza, Anetha, Suni Sharp & others crossing Europe.
