Remy Allocco
Biografía
Remy’s music style has been influenced in most parts by the two worlds he has exhibited: South America and Europe. With Chilean roots and hometowns in Costa Rica, Argentina, and Malaga, exotic landscapes and Latin music defined his childhood. A change of scenery in Paris led him to quickly pick up on classical, jazz and blues piano. At 20, Remy settled down in London, and it was his exposure to the city’s electronic music scene that influenced the following years of his life. He studied music composition and production in the award winning music school, Point Blank, all the while playing for various parties in Europe, in venues such as fabric and Hoxton Gallery and Anita Berber in Berlin. As one of the first residents of Cartulis Day, which has invited djs such as Zip, Baby Ford, and Nicolas Lutz, he continues to regularly spin records for the party with his fellow compadres Unai Trotti, DAVY and Raphael Carrau. It is easy to recognise when Remy gets behind the decks with his mostly French and U.S. inspired house and techno sets, naturally creating a style of his own.
