Reckless Kettle was first established in 2013 known for throwing regular parties across Dundee and Scotland. The duo, consisting of Fergus Tibbs and Mikey Rodger grew up together in Glasgow before moving to Dundee and carving a name for themselves as DJs. Two years later saw them becoming residents of The Reading Rooms, a club housed in a former library set in the industrial area of Dundee. Now DJing solo under the name Reckless Kettle, Fergus Tibbs is based in Bergen, Norway. Summing the Reckless Kettle unique blend of music is a challenge in its self. Over the course of a four hour set one can expect to hear some post punk rarities progressing through some 1970s African funk sides often working these percussive rhythms into techno and house music. A passion for collecting a wide spectrum of vinyl is clearly evident in an RK performance. Always leaving the club reveller guessing, Reckless Kettle is never scared to keep it freaky!
