Born and raised in China, Raeya’s love affair with electronic music began when she arrived in Switzerland in 2016. Gradually, raving to the beautiful tunes of house music and techno became an irreplaceable romantic experience, sparking the beginning of her professional career. Since her debut as a Geneva-based artist, Raeya has been curating unique musical experiences reflecting her creative roots in Chinese music and culture. With infectious energy and dedication to high-quality tunes, she showcases a distinctive mixing style, seamlessly blending diverse electronic music genres from house to techno. This quickly earned her residencies at numerous local hotspots and attracted a growing circle of followers. Raeya’s rapid growth has led her to the stages of premier electronic music venues across Europe and Asia, such as Oil Club (Shenzhen, China), Lightbox (London, UK) and Audio Club (Geneva, Switzerland), playing alongside internationally renowned artists such as MALAA, Will Clarke, Matt Sassari. Being the only Chinese electronic music artist active in the Swiss scene, Raeya continues to develop a vast and engaged community through her own event concept MÉI experiences (@meiexperiences) and her DJ collective MONOPOLE (@monopole.ch).
