Hailing from Boston and living in Los Angeles, Jon Gilman aka Racket Club has been involved in music his whole life. Truly his #1 passion, he grew up playing drums in rock bands, symphonic bands, and jazz bands. He was influenced by classic rock, jazz, blues, alternative rock, hip hop, and the list goes on. After spending six months in Australia that's when the electronic and dance music bug hit and he hasn't looked back. Racket Club began DJing over a decade ago by taking up residencies around Boston. His journey took him to the Bay Area where he teamed up with like-minded individuals and founded the event Pzza & Techno which have been wildly successful so much so that he now runs the LA edition (save the date for July 31!). Outside of running Pizza & Techno he's building the label Top Shelf Disco which already has a number of releases and their big event coming up on August 7th in Koreatown. Racket Club's style is a blend of House, Disco, and Tech-House and plays unique samples, edits, and remixes that get the dance floors moving in a truly inspiring way.
