QUEENIEPRINX
Biografía
QUEENIEPRINX (they/them) is East London’s kittygrl-partyboi DJ, spinning high-energy bouncy beats in a basement near you.
Raving since the noughties, their party days have seen them blissing out to classic house & garage at Plastic People, to experiencing their hardgroove & techno awakening in the purrfect sweatbox that is FOLD. QUEENIEPRINX has the iconic party Sink the Pink to thank for their queer enlightenment. Ever since that fateful night in 2018, they’ve come into their own, and haven’t dreamt of taking a paw off the queer dancefloor (even during Covid - thank you Queer House Party).
It was during a Booty Bass set at Shambala Festival in 2023, that blew their socks right off, that QUEENIEPRINX realised their rave journey had a new chapter on the horizon. They needed to learn the craft of being up on a stage and bringing the vibe like the Booty Bass crew did so enchantingly. The following month they were signed up to hub16’s beginner DJ course and they’ve been non-stop blending bangers ever since, in venues such as Dalston Superstore, Low Profile Studios, The Roses of Elagabalus, and The Queen Adelaide.
2025 saw them flip hosting the afters on its head when they co-founded @Lo’s, the community platform & party spotlighting FLINTA* DJs, held right there in their gaff. Alongside that they undertook a residency at GrooveTank Live, QUEENIEPRINX & pals, which they use to promote emerging queer DJs and spotlight gender affirmative care fundraisers.
Join QUEENIEPRINX on the floor for a feast of techno, breaks, dembow, garage, bass - always with a sprinkling of pop. They’ll be sure to leave you purring for days 🐾
