Glasgow born & bred, Quail has been the driving force behind one of Scotland’s most well known and revered underground Techno events & labels, Animal Farm. Operating out of the famous basement of the Sub Club, AF has been at the forefront of the techno scene for 16 years. Hosting some of the biggest names in Techno to the best up and comers and always supporting local talent, Animal Farm has strived to push the boundaries of dance floor based, electronic music. Most recently Quail has teamed up with fellow Animal Farm resident AISHA, forming a production duo that will soon see their 3rd release on the mighty Soma Records with already more in the pipeline. Quail fuses a ferocious blend of hard hitting Techno into every DJ set and having focussed more on production in the last few years, is steadily building his sound that encompasses various disciplines. His day job at Soma Records has allowed him to build up many years of experience, deep within the electronic music scene where he has developed as a label owner himself & competent A&R for both Animal Farm Records & Soma.
