puxo, aka Luciano Cartes, is a Chilean DJ and artist with a solid musical background. His career spans a diversity of genres, from jazz to more experimental music. puxo began his musical career at a young age as an electric guitarist and singer, playing an active role in rock and jazz bands between 2014 and 2020 in Santiago's underground scene. During this period, he gained experience in improvisation and sound experimentation, to later develop in experimental hip hop production. In 2022, Puxo ventured into electronic music, making his debut in Chile before settling in Barcelona. His style is characterized by a calculated combination of deconstructed fast club music, with Latin influences and emotional elements, with a strong presence of percussions. In Europe, he has participated in prominent events within the international underground circuit, such as Deprerreo, Latineo and Me Siento Extraña. His eclectic and energetic approach has generated recognition and acceptance both locally and globally, consolidating him as a prominent and promising figure in contemporary club culture.
