With a wide array of influences ranging all the way from post-dubstep and UK drill to strange hip hop and hybrid club sounds, Utrecht-based artist puurvuur has steadily become known for his versatility in production and DJ sets. Although varying widely in tempo and style, his work always has an emotive and melancholy tone, both in his original productions as well as his club edits and bootlegs. Mostly interested in what lies in between the established genres, puurvuur always tries to go down new, unexplored paths. He is 1/2 of SOFT CLIP, runs local label/collective P2P, and is resident/member of bass collective/club night Reload at De Helling.
