PuttyRubber playfully fuses electronic genres with a passion for broken techno, wonky breaks and acid. Her visuals are visceral and unique combining video feedback, synths and digital tools. She is a regular on the Glasto, Shambala and Free Rotation festival line-ups and has DJed for Oscillate Sound system, Data Mine, Uncle Montys, Duvet Vous and Minotaur Sound club nights. Resident DJ / VJ with B Beats Collective and Kim Cosmik's Hybrid Collective she plays at their live and streamed events. At 19, PuttyRubber dived into the underground acid house and ambient techno scenes of the '90s. She started VJing with VHS tapes and created immersive AV chill-out spaces with Cloud23 for early Big Chill and Oscillate Sound System events, Spawnee Posse parties, and their own events. In the 2000s, she stepped away from live performance art to explore other creative avenues, but a decade ago, she returned as PuttyRubber marking the beginning of a fresh track. Recently, she has collaborated with DJ Food to create video feedback visuals for his experimental Quadrophon live shows at Deliaphonic, Iklektik and Ramsgate Music Hall. Last year, she created a holographic installation with Stuart Warren-Hill aka Hexstatic/Holotronica and DJ Cheeba at Kinetic. The new concept venue at Glasto was inspired by the kinetic sculpture of Ivan Black. In recent years, she has joined Limbic Cinema to VJ at The Temple at Glasto. VJing at Shamblaa since 2019 she has performed live visuals at the Kaleida and Solasta stages, the main stage and the amazing Datamine. In 2022 PuttyRubber performed live with video feedback at Photonica Festival in Rome and an intimate AV set with Hiver at About the Future, Campobasso. She has been a live video artist for Machina Bristronica since its inception in 2019. With strong connections to the growing modular and experimental scene in Bristol she has performed for Wetware at Strange Brew and Dareshack, BleepKlub at JamJar and continues to actively champion visual artists in the music scene.
