Pusjka seeks to create hypnotic and primal atmospheres that awaken our bodies. Whether through the dark, skittering percussion of UK Techno, the visceral power of Dubstep or the sensuality of Dub Techno, he is searching for space, bass and fractured rhythms. In the moment of dancing, the dancer knows everything. Rhythm and movement re-connects us to ancient knowledge and to each other. Repetition brings transcendence. Diverse selections are unified by an ear for low end weight, subtle textures and wonky nocturnal propulsions. Pusjka’s passion lies in the hybrid spaces between genres, where experimental sounds find an elegant balance with intoxicating dance floor energy.
