A Reggae lover since his boyhood, it is alongside Mc Reggo that Selecta Elpee created Massawa Sound in 2001. While based in Nantes, they begin to animate a new roots reggae oriented radio show (Jet To Kingston - Jet FM - 2002/2003) and to play in different halls and Festivals of the region. In 2003, Elpee moves to Rouen and continues to develop the Massawa Sound, on the sides of Mc Kaztet D and KrewFaya (Lighta D, Dynamikilla & Mc Redda), which will lead to it to occur in numerous events throughout France, and to meet many national and international artists. Actor of the local scene, he works with most of the artists of the city, through the creation of a studio in 2005, Mix Tape projects (Conscience Locale 1 and 2 in 2005 and 2010) and various projects that aimed to promote artists of the area … In 2006, in parallel of Massawa, Elpee resumes the radio, for a show that will last 4 years (Plateau Tournant, on HDR Rouen) A musical show ... but not only, where he will express his side collector and discoverer of musical gems with a good a dose of humor alongside Inspekta Derrick (Steppin Forward HiFi). Activist of the urban cultures beyond the turntables, Elpee is also a visual artist, touching Graphic Design, Graffiti and Computer graphics. An original member of the B80 graffiti collective, Elpee aka Orum aka 4rum also participated in the creation of the Or2Vue association, which specializes in the organization of Graffiti events; an association now recognized on the national scene, notably thanks to the event Rouen Sous Pression (70 Graffeurs, 5 Days and 1300m² of graffiti in 2011) Arrived in Hanoi (Vn) at the end of 2012, he continues to broadcast his selections in an eclectic style still tinged with a reggae base. He joins Slo-Lo and joins Skank the Tank, reggae section of Sub Elements, a group of DJs, producers, selectors and event organizers based in Hanoi, Vietnam, specializing in low frequency and bass music. He is an active part of the "An Bang Reggae Beach Fest", one Sunday a month, an event that has been going on for 3 years now. With this consistency, it been hosting artists like Blood Dunza, Q-Mastah, Norris King, Ras Taro, Jado, Soom T, Bluntskullz, Art-X, Tomawok, Steppa Style, Anancy Sound and many others. Team up regularly with Saigon Dub Station for events such as the Quest Festival, Vibenation ... He joins Wat A Gwaan in 2018, an international team of DJ's and Selectas based in Cambodia and Vietnam.
