Puerto Reeko discovered his passion early on, experimenting with a ghettoblaster and recording his first mixtapes for local breakdance events. Fascinated by the “magical black plates” he saw spinning at parties, he saved up for his first turntables and a battle mixer at just fifteen—then immersed himself in the craft, mixing relentlessly and shaping the foundation of his sound. He has carved out his own distinct path as a DJ—or as he calls it, a “Beat Operator”—and curator, shaped by journeys across the globe that have sharpened his instinct for reading crowds and crafting immersive atmospheres. His sound spans a wide spectrum, from deep, jazzy and raw, vocal-driven house to more straight, groove-focused selections, always guided by feeling and flow.
