Professor Dictabeat is an open format DJ, as well as a live electro artist. Being Guatemalan born and having grown up in Amsterdam The Netherlands, he moved to Berlin Germany in 2010 where he resides now. As a multi-instrumentalist, he has a great passion for many many genres as well as being an established Techno and Electro DJ for almost ten years before moving to Berlin and becoming a live Electro music act, which he performs with analog synthesizers. As a DJ, his track selection appeals to both the common listener and sparks the attention of seasoned music connoisseurs. Professor Dictabeat is currently a resident DJ at several of Berlin's most well-known establishments such as the Old CCCP, Belushi's, Hawai toast, the Friedrich's Hahn, and is the owner of Dictabeat events, which offers various types of music events for many music styles. Through this broad spectrum of music along with his enthusiasm, he aims to combine cultures as well as ages through his sound.
