Melbourne-based DJ, digger, and designer Princey shares oddities that zig-zag between rare variations of chuggy disco, cosmic rhythms, and romantic downtempo. Certainly not without energy and cheek, his sets pull from the darker corners of the dancefloor and a collector’s instinct sharpened by years of travel. As one half of party and label Proto Exotica, Princey has shared rooms with household names like Motor City Drum Ensemble, Jura Soundsystem, and Eternal Love. When he’s not booth-bound, he’s the founder and curator of BAR FOR NOW, a small, design-forward music bar dedicated to sound, inclusion, community radio culture, and a well-poured Guinness.
