Press, real name Greg Kennedy, is bursting onto the dance scene. A Producer & DJ who learnt his craft by going to raves and festivals around London with his homemade press pass – Press knows how to make a track for the festival tent, packed warehouse, or city club. After some remixes became popular online and some sets at off-the-record house parties around London, Greg’s tracks (under the alias ‘Press’) gathered attention from BBC Introducing and his first official release, The Angel EP, came out on Patrick Topping’s notorious Trick label. Inspired by 70’s disco, old-school UK Garage, and pumping rave tunes – the unique EP has been supported by a plethora of international DJs and radio stations. After a stint studying and working around Europe, Greg’s head was turned and his tracks & shows have taken on some new life – inspired by wild raves and playing sets in some of Europe’s hottest techno scenes, including Copenhagen, Berlin and Milan – Greg is is piling up new tracks full of original inspiration. Distinctive tracks and sets inspired by the UK dance scene with touches of harder-hitting electronic/techno. With a passion for discovering new inspirations and a talent for unique, diverse music production Press’ forthcoming creations and rowdy sets are sure to lift the roof of venues worldwide.
