prekeris’ sets are driven by percussion: bass-heavy, break-leaning rhythms that move between hypnotic states and syncopated club energy, with druidstep and experimental electronic elements. Rather than sticking to a single genre, they approach the dance floor as an exploratory space, switching between styles while keeping a strong rhythmic core, occasionally leaning into more drum-heavy territory. Blending bass music with global club references and leftfield electronic sounds, prekeris creates dynamic, genre-fluid sets. Their selections can move from downtempo and hypnotic sounds into more percussive and rhythmically intense territory, while maintaining a distinct bass-driven approach. Alongside DJing, prekeris is actively involved in Rotterdam’s queer club scene as a curator and organiser. They are the founder of KLASTR, a Rotterdam-based queer club night focused on musical diversity, genre-fluid programming and creating space for experimentation on the dance floor. The night brings together artists from different corners of club music, with a particular focus on face-to-face DJ sets and unexpected combinations of sound. prekeris is also part of Epiphany Records, a FLINTA-focused experimental electronic music label and agency based in Amsterdam, connecting their DJ practice to a wider network of artists and queer electronic music communities. prekeris has played across the Netherlands at venues and platforms including EKKO, Operator Radio, POING, PERRON, EXPORT, PIP, Skatecafé, Kanaal40 and LAAK, as well as internationally at Fitzroy in Berlin and Passos Manuel in Porto.
