Pontana is a DJ and electronic music producer based in Stockholm. Originally from the south of Sweden, he was born as Pontus Nyberg but lived a big part of his life in Spain. Because of his connection to Spain, he quickly fell in love with the music scene in Ibiza during 2010, which inspired him to start producing and playing house music on a professional level. Blending energetic and groovy beats with the depths of melodic synths, his kaleidoscopic style soon became recognized within the local scenes of Sweden and Spain. In the past years he held a residency at Suite 606 Berns in Stockholm and played next to acts such as Andrea Oliva, Birds Of Mind and Yamil at Playa Padre and Momento in Marbella and LuLa Club in Madrid. Today he runs his independent record label ’Anatnop’, containing a track catalog with releases like ’Batru' EP, ’Mugato', ’Agape' EP, ’Haze' and 'Fire Soul’, joining line-ups both nationally and internationally next to Dixon, Trikk, Bedouin, Terr, Mira, Marino Canal naming a few.
