Born and raised in NYC, Poetic Note grew up enamored with the soulful hum of jazz and the rebellious pulse of rock ‘n’ roll. She learned early how rhythm could speak when words couldn’t. In 2022, a chance encounter with a Jackin’ house set at a park party reignited a long-held passion, inspiring her to step behind the decks and bring her energy to the dance floor. Poetic Note is built from contrast, and you hear it in every set. Her sound won’t sit still or fit neatly into a box. It’s punk at the core: visceral, hypnotic, emotional.
