Piolinda Marcela is a Colombian oviparous DJ and performer whose vibrant sets blend cumbia, electro-cumbia, reggaeton, and Latin club sounds with a generous touch of maricoteca—a celebration of queer musical culture and internet-fueled fun. She has spent the last few years of her life in cantinas drinking the rent and hunting other people's husbands to support her. In 2024, she toured across Mexico and Europe, playing festivals and venues such as Razzmatazz in Barcelona, the Whole Festival in Berlin, and Cute Pride in Monterrey. Whether in cantinas or clubs, she brings heat, humour, and a bold Latin popurrí to every dance floor she touches.
