Philipp Roth started making music at a very young age. He started with drumming, playing electric bass guitar and then performed and sang in a punk rock group during his teenage years. It was also during this time he found his passion in electronic music, through djing with his father as Bone X Zone. Currently based in Berlin he produces and djs as a solo artist under the alias of Pino Peña, and in a duo with Mitchell Jones aka Jones&Roth. The sound of his productions always varies across genres, offering elements from techno, house and breaks while being inspired by hiphop, psychedelic and garage rock, jazz and much more! He has released on labels like 3024 Glukkon Records, Einz Records, Lo Fidelity aswell as on the constantly growing Schimmer Records, where he's also a resident. In 2022 he launched his own label W133 which focuses on combining rhtythm oriented electronic dance music with analoque photos by Freya Gerz.
