Phil started DJing in the early 2000's, a unique time in the electronic music scene, and since then has played a big hand in bringing the scene back to the little big city with his own event & collaboration with close friends, The Social. Phil has worked alongside other Newcastle based crews such as ColourSound & DirtyFeet as well as helping kick off the burner scene locally & being a co-founding member of local theme camp MIND SUB. Phil has DJ'd at events ranging from warehouse raves to boutique festivals, from park gatherings to clubs from Sydney to Newcastle & Internationally. Phil's humble approach to music follows no specific genre: "with how popular the electronic music scene is now, it's hard to stay with the one sound without fear of sounding too familiar.
