The piano was the main instrument of choice, but drum-percussions were always within reach. Electronic instruments do replicate an acoustic sound by employing samples, so the change to electronic music was never far away. Phemia’s teenage years were where electronic music entered the equation. Her passion for this genre was built dancing nights away in clubs. Artists like DVS1, Surgeon, Ben sims amongst others, were big inspirations for her.
