Hailing from the world famous northern beaches Persian Rug is the dynamic duo made up from Lachlan See Hoe and Tom Rowles. After spending many late nights and early morning's bopping away on the dancefloor they decided to chance their arm with the head phones. Being put on the spot the name "Persian rug" was acquired after an inside joke on a trip to Miami's WMC where Lachlan strolled along South Beach with his chest hair in all its glory which was later named the Persian Rug. Fast forward a few years and the boys are building their sound taking influences from the European House/Minimal scene as they slowly build their record collection. They hold down a residency at Bare Essentials but you may have also seen them gracing the stage at other popular Sydney parties such as S.A.S.H, Mantra Collective and Something Else and Chinese laundry.
