Pentola is a producer, DJ, and sound designer from Bari, now based in Milan. You can find him in his home studio, hitting the pads on his MPC and then using the copy-paste shortcut on Ableton. Deeply connected to the underground scene, he is a passionate lover of jazz and fusion. His journey into beatmaking began through the art of sampling, drawing inspiration from these genres along with funk and soul. Over time, his sound has evolved towards more electronic influences, shaped by the cosmic atmospheres of ’90s and early 2000s house and techno. In 2020, he released his debut EP Back Home on the American electronic label Calls and Puts Records. The following year, he joined the roster of the Italo-Dutch lo-fi label Resilienza Records, collaborating with artists such as You Nico, J Raise Jr., Paddon, and Sunn Pei. After moving to Milan in 2022, he released multiple singles with the label and dropped his first lo-fi beats producer album, Campionario, on cassette, featuring artists like SupNasa, Guapo, and G Foxxx. Over the years, Pentola has performed at some of Milan’s most iconic venues, including Santeria, Apollo, Circolo Magnolia, and Arca, as well as festivals like Decibel. He has collaborated with platforms like Billboard, Outpump, and Zero.eu, and played DJ sets on radios such as Radio Raheem, Est Radio, and Linea. He has had the privilege of sharing the stage with artists like Lil Louis (one of the pioneers of Chicago house music), DJ Assault (founder of ghetto house), Duskus, OkGiorgio, and Atrip. Pentola is also the artistic director of Bravissimi Ragazzi, a Milan-based music collective that curates events in clubs across Italy (Turin, Modena, Rome, Bari, Genoa) and Europe, bringing his unique sound to an international audience. Alongside his music career, he graduated in Sound Design from IED Milan and has worked on sound design projects in the fashion industry, collaborating with brands such as Adidas, Superga, and Dolly Noire. With a constantly evolving sonic identity, Pentola continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, blending sophisticated grooves with immersive atmospheres.
