Initially, he was involved in club nights in the mid-nineties at the legendary Venue on Calton Road and the Wilkie House. With long time collaborators from these clubs, he went on to form the Cuts & Strings club nights. Here, Paul would play a number of different genres from hip-hop and house through to drum and bass at venues such as the Cocteau Lounge and the Green Room. Paul has most recently been playing out in The Bon Vivant. There, his all vinyl selections, rooted in hip-hop, would make the crossover to other styles such as funk and broken beat.
