Paul Hnikin is a Latvian techno DJ and producer from Daugavpils. He has been active in the Latvian electronic music scene for over 5 years, and has played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the country, including Phenomenon, Totaldobže, and Grand Velykos. Hnikin's music is dark and industrial, with a strong focus on rhythm and texture. He often incorporates elements of acid, leftfield, and noise into his tracks. In addition to his DJing and production work, Hnikin is also a promoter and organizer of electronic music events in Daugavpils. He is the resident of the night club Fort, and is also one of the organizers of the night of art and music "Are you hungry?" Hnikin is a passionate advocate for underground electronic music. He believes that everyone should have a choice for the sound, and that techno is a powerful force for good in the world. He is committed to promoting techno culture in Latvia and beyond.
