Paul Allen’s journey into the world of Electronic music began in Dublin where he developed a passion by tuning into the city’s pirate radio Stations in the early 90s, while the scene was still emerging. Immersed in a melting pot of various electronic sounds, Paul quickly became hooked and by 1996 Paul started to get into DJing on a pair of Belt drive turntables and basic 2 channel mixer, a year later by chance he got to play for the first time in the Dublin club the POD at a charity event which was in Aid of the heart children in Crumlin hospital. Over the years, Paul has played at various clubs and festivals around Ireland, and Played on radio Stations like Power Fm, Frequency fm and Play FM and geusted Phever radio. In 2018 Paul Produced a short Documentary about Pirate radio in the 90s, and it made it into a few film festivals and premiered at the Lighthouse cinema in Dublin. Paul has also released music under various aliases with some collaborations and released his first track on Fudge records in 2004 which was a collaboration with Ciaran Reilly, between 2005 / 2007 the alias Rexx Le Gaff was Born, Paul was putting tracks out on Queep Organic House records at the time. A few years later Paul would start making music under the alias Carlos Serintino and released a few tracks on Marbet records, This alias was short-lived. In recent years Paul took a break from production due to other commitments and in 2024 Paul has some new music in the pipeline. Currently, Paul is a resident DJ for the Deeper Groove party’s, where he brings his unique energy and musical knowledge to the decks. In addition, he also looks after the Marketingfor Deeper Groove Records and Events, where he combines his passion for music with his expertise in promotion to help grow the label and events reach.
