Pattern is a Colombian DJ and producer based in Calgary, dedicated to bringing the raw energy of South America’s underground scene to the Canadian landscape. With extensive experience behind the decks, he has shared the stage with prominent international artists while playing a key role in building and shaping Calgary’s local techno community. Known for his powerful mixing and unwavering focus on pure techno, his sound is defined by deep, authoritative basslines, hypnotic repetitive melodies, and deliberate breaks that turn every set into a cohesive journey. Driven by a commitment to keep the energy high, he approaches every track and performance as an opportunity to forge a genuine connection with the dancefloor. I see the techno scene as a cultural haven of freedom, where all who are a part of it contribute something special to the dancefloor. Through my productions and mixes, I express what, to me, is art, by playing techno.
