Biografía
A Mercury Prize winning songwriter for his work with Speech Debelle (Ninja Tune), he has amassed a vast array of production credits, including Hip Hop royalty, ARIA award winners.
He has produced and worked with artists such as Stic.Man (Dead Prez), Rob Swift (X-ecutioners), Kaiit, Kee’ahn, DRMNGNOW, 360, Philly, Adrian Eagle, Hau Latukefu, So.Crates, Nazeem Hussain’s Legally Brown (SBS), Lotek feat Roots Manuva, The Flybz feat Paul Kelly and a host of other artists.
A mercenary instrumentalist, controllerist or Live MD. Pat has worked and performed with international artists including Solange, Fefe (Saïan Supa Crew), Boots Riley (The Coup) among a host of others. Touring extensively, performing at countless major festivals and interntantional shores. As a solo artist, gracing stages from the Sydney Opera House to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, sharing lineups with Grandmaster Flash, Arrested Development and former Prime Ministers. A Pataphysics live show is more like an experiment and never the same as the last.
His compositions have been featured in the National Gallery of Victoria and on numerous domestic and international TV networks, radio. Film, T.V and apps.
His debut album “Subversive” was named among the top 15 releases that year by The Australian Music Prize (AMP). His albums have been the feature record on multiple stations, with singles holding No.1 on the Triple J Unearthed overall charts for consecutive weeks, culminating in a successful National tours and overcapacity launches.
Pat also likes sharing ideas, whether in lyricism, essays or public lectures and workshops. A vast experience in institutional and grassroots community settings. He has been a lecturer for over 9 years and is an Ableton Certified Trainer.
