Papa Romeo are a five-piece band from Dublin, bringing nu-jazz elements to their indie rock and bed pop roots. With appearances at Cork Jazz Festival, Other Voices, All Together Now and Another Love Story, as well as selling out shows at the Sugar Club and Grand Social, they have made a rep as a versatile band who can rock a room and were named an Artist to Watch for 2024 by Hot Press Magazine. Their debut 8 track EP will be released on digital and vinyl in 2024. Previous singles have been supported by Gilles Peterson, Avalon Emerson, and Flo Dill. Papa Romeo is Paddy Rogers, Mark Rogers, Rob de Boer, Chris Wong and Dan Coyne. DJing under Papa Romeo Soundsystem, Paddy and Dan bring their worldly sounds onto Dublin Digital Radio as residents, as well as through guesting on shows on Echobox Amsterdam, TNP Radio, and Voices London.
