Biografía
Born and raised in low-land Scotland, Leah started their engagement in music from the age of 3.
Having studied Jazz saxophone and composition during their formative years in Boston, USA (BA; Berklee College of Music & MA; New England Conservatory), they were greatly drawn to the Fusion era which inspired their passion for Electronic and House music, drawing from deep-funky-jazzy Disco and House, to the darker territories of Techno and Leftfield.
Moving to NYC in 2011 they began producing House & Techno music, later spinning locally and internationally, playing spaces such as (NYC) Panther Room, Cielo, Black Flamingo, House of Yes, The Deep End, Tilt, (Berlin) Tresor, Suicide Circus and many International Jazz Festivals as Saxophonist, such as the UK (London Jazz Fest, Edinburgh Jazz Fest, Glasgow Jazz Fest), France (Nancy Jazz Fest), Taiwan (Chiayi Music Fest), Venezuela (Naguanagua Jazz Fest) & Aruba (Caribbean Sea Jazz Fest).
They are currently one of the Resident DJ’s of female-DJ collective and NYC events producers XOXA. Leah incorporates saxophone live within DJ sets to add a little something extra for the dancefloor.
