Toronto native Pachelle is an up and coming DJ and a lifelong fan of percussion-forward music. A former dancer and self-proclaimed “band geek”, she discovered her love for electronic music ten years ago—during an exchange semester in Prague—and has never looked back. Pachelle started DJing in October 2020 and honed her skills by live-streaming her sets on Twitch. Highlights from her first year on the decks include performing on Twitch with Toronto's Manzone & Strong, as well as having mixes featured on WhiStle FM’s Block Party: a community radio show exploring the best in Toronto’s underground dance music scene. In December 2021, she was selected as one of five winners in a DJ mix contest hosted by Toronto's iconic afterhours club—The Comfort Zone—and subsequently made her Comfort Zone debut in March 2022. When she's on the decks, you can expect dark, minimal sounds with the occasional chirp of vocals. Pachelle is passionate about supporting underrepresented groups in electronic music, and is excited to reach more ears as live events make a comeback.
